Medical professional career training can be completed by enrolling in an accredited vocational school. Students can prepare for the career they desire in the medical field. *Associate Degree

With the skills obtained through these courses students can seek employment in the medical field. By enrolling in an accredited master’s degree training program students can train for the career of their dreams. Masters degrees usually require an additional two years of training to obtain. Students who already hold a masters degree in the field can obtain a doctoral degree or PhD with an additional four years of study. Jos Riot: Do Nigerians Have Common Destiny?
The recent riot in Jos raises the question of whether Nigerians can really live as one, because the situation has once again made nonsense of the unity of the country, and tendency for the peoples of the country to co-exist. The North has once again proved that ethnicity and religious bigotry is not really a thing of the past but they were just observing a break.
One great lesson I was thought by it all is that ethnic and religious disturbances are fanned by politicians, another lesson I have also learnt is that because of the caliber of politicians that are involved such people are never brought to book even when the best brains comprise of Judicial panels of enquiry. I may be proved wrong as we await the State and Federal Governments of Plateau and Nigeria respectively.
If there is any other lesson, we also learnt from this situation, that lesson is obviously the fact that it is very unsafe living in the Northern part of the country especially if you are a non indigene, this fact greatly manifested in the riot recently witnessed in Jos, Plateau State of Nigeria.
That a trivial political issue which began on a note of protest against Local Government election could swallow mostly non indigenes of the State is a wonder even to the wisest man on earth. Settling down in the Northern part of the country is the biggest risk anyone person who loves his dear life can take.
Again, the Federal Government of Nigeria has not taken steps to ask questions on the business of mercenaries usually bought over from neighboring countries to help kill our citizens and bring about vapid destructions of lives and properties in our country.
Our Government should have been expected to carry out thorough investigation using those the numerous mercenaries arrested and find out whether the governments of their countries are involved but this would not be as nothing may be heard of them again.
It is sad that 3 Youth Service Corp members lost their lives in active service because they were in Jos to serve the Federal Government and the people of Plateau State in particular and ended their lives on a sad note. An event like will only lend credence to voices calling on the Federal Government to abrogate NYSC program since it is no longer relevant in today’s society of Nigeria. The youth members of this program will increasingly face the wrath of the North if posted to this region, if the Northern people of Nigeria are not orientated to acknowledge that Corp members are harmless youths posted to their regions to give them medical attention when the need arises or to help their children become educated and not clergies or even politicians who turn our nation up side down.
The government should look into this area or have the program terminated with immediate effect because going to serve in any region of the country should not be construed to mean going to die in any region of the country, otherwise, when youths upon graduation reject serving in the North, our government should view same as valid since life is precious to us all.
The government should also take actions to strengthen the security of Nigerian borders which now have become the freest point of entry and exit in the world, areas bordering Nigeria in the Northern part of the country are so free that Malians, Nigerians, Mauritanians, people from Chad only leisurely walk into Nigeria at their own freewill. Government should distinguish Nigerian Hausa-Fulani from those of other West African countries and enforce the strict actions guiding borders. It is these men that hurriedly find their ways into the country and help to kill innocent Nigerians from any part of the country, causing insurmountable havocs on Nigerians which to me is avoidable in the first place.
Nigerians should share common destiny and be able to live in any part of the country. Having been together since 1960, by now the Nigerian people should have grown to love each other and learn how to live in harmony knowing that the country belongs to all irrespective of where anyone hails from. The usual blame on the British for amalgamating different peoples and bringing them under one country without their respective consent is no longer a valid argument since Nigeria is not the only country colonized in the whole world. Britain, USA, Canada, Ghana, Republic of Benin all enjoying peace today were once colonies, but today they have learnt to live together as one nation.
Somebody just needs to tell those Northerners and politicians from that of the country that the world is now a global village, which can accommodate everyone.
An Introduction To The New HTC Titan
The new Titan handset from HTC is the latest addition to the brands ever increasing line up of phones. This new Windows 7 phones offers a huge screen which makes the phone appeal to multi media fans and also those who love gaming. Rather than focus on the screen and camera facilities which we covered previously here we take a look at some other impressive aspects of this new model.
Internally the HTC Titan offers some great specification which keeps the model in line with some of the better phones currently available. At present Windows 7 handsets do not support dual core processors but the single core chip fitted inside this phone is one of the best that you are likely to find. Clocked at 1.5Ghz the Qualcomm MSM 8255 is accompanied by 512MB of RAM and immediately the phone feels much faster than any of the 2010 range of Windows phones that were released by HTC. An area where this extra processing power is particularly noticeable is when loading games and other applications which are now booted almost instantly. Internally it is not only the chipset that catches the eye with this model but also the superb connectivity options that the device offers. The Titan offers DNLA facilities which enables the simple streaming of material between the phone and other devices such as laptops and internet televisions. If you would rather use a more traditional method of connection then the handset offers a micro HDMI socket to enable the phone to link with a large screen television. The usual array of other connections are available on the phone including a micro USB port and a 3.5mm headphone jack to enable the phone to be used as a portable audio player.
The HTC Titan uses the Windows 7 Mango operating system which is the very latest version of this popular platform. Mango offers some big improvements over previous versions and these are evident on the Titan. Perhaps one of the biggest changes in terms of operation is that the OS now supports true multi tasking making it easy to stop what you are doing and quickly switch to another task. The series of tiles that are present on the homescreen are an essential part of Windows 7 and these have been given an overhaul so they now look clearer than ever whilst being able to display more live information. The platform now enables the use of front facing cameras for video calling and the Titan offers one which is capable of snapping a 1.3 million pixel image. These are just a few of the many improvements that this new platform is offering.
If the wonderful screen on the HTC Titan does not win you over then some of the other superb features are bound to. The new operating system see some excellent updates and the powerful chipset ensures everything operates at lightning pace.
